Youthwork in Huntingdonshire Community Church is very important to us. So many young people today have a depth to them that needs to be met, causing a spiritual hunger. They love to question and debate upon issues that are really important to their generation and this is what the youthwork in HCC thrives upon. All of what we do aims to meet the spiritual needs of young people, and also the physical, social and emotional needs that each individual may have. From 11-18 years old, the youthwork seeks to be relevent to each age, and soaked in the truth of God. We seek to pastor, develop and have a good laugh with each person who joins us, and get them invovled in all that we do.
 InsideOut is all about creating opportunity to encounter God. It's a community of 14-18 year olds who get together to discuss God's truth in today's world. There is opportunity to engage in discussion and find answers to questions, to worship in different ways and to meet others who are seeking to follow Jesus with their whole life. In 2007 we want to increase in number and depth as a group, and we want to become more involved in helping the local community by social action.

 Guts is the area of our Youthwork for 11-14 year olds. It happens on Sunday morning during the HCC main meeting, and is all about learning and action. The aim of Guts is to teach the Bible in a real and practical way, and then give opportunity for this age group to serve out of what they have learned. Guts also links in to Union, the Wednesday evening youth event for the same age.

Child Protection is very important to HCC. All staff who work within HCC youthwork are CRB checked and have a good record of working with people of this age group. We are professional in all areas of our work, which involves working in both a church setting and in the local community.
